National Museum Artifacts

On a recent visit to national museum, I saw many articles were removed from the display and replaced by a note mentioning that they are taken abroad for exhibition. Well some of the items are supposedly out for more than 2 years now…why is there such a delay in returning those items?
Also lots of sections like jewelry were closed….any explanation? One of the security personnel said it was because the moderator for jewelry section has passed away. sounds ridiculous to me.
