Request to provide information (under RTI act 2005) related to the recruitment and selection for the post of Professor and Associate Professor in Delhi Technological University, Bawana Road, Delhi based on Advertisement number DTU/Recruit/Faculty/01/2011 dated December 03, 2011

The Public Information Officer (PIO) Delhi Technological University (erstwhile DCE) Bawana Road, Delhi-110042

Dear Sir,

  1. File Noting/Circular for Approval from DTTE, Govt. Of Delhi for recruitment of above mentioned faculty position.
  2. In case no approval is taken from DTTE, GNCTD, who will bear the expenses on salary of the faculty recruited based on the above advertisement.
  3. Kindly provide File noting/circular of the copy of rule book /act empowering BOM/VC-DTU for selecting faculty  and disbursing their salary from the grant given by GNCTD
  4. Minutes of meeting/approval of eligibility conditions of these posts from Academic Council of DTU as per the statutes 10.2(b) and BOM of DTU
  5. Kindly provide the list of Professor and Associate Professor (i) selected and (ii) Joined  at DTU based on  the above mentioned advertisement for recruitment of faculty position.
  6. Kindly provide document of eligibility conditions (essential qualification and experience) as mentioned in the above advertisement vs. the actual qualification and experience (along with pay scale and AGP-as per advertisement) with respect to each candidate (i) selected and (ii) joined as asked in 4
  7. Kindly provide copy of the rule/DTU act/Ordinances/Statuettes for forming screening committee for the recruitment of faculty positions
  8. Details of the screening committee for recruitment of each subject.
  9. Copy of the agenda notice, minutes of meeting held by screening committee.
  10. Name the officer in charge responsible for lapses in the screening of applications, if any.
  11. Provide the list of short listed candidates for each subject for both  positions i.e. Associate Professor and Professor for all subjects as per advertisement
  12. Name the candidates who have not been shortlisted (as displayed on www.dce.edu and admin.dtu.ac.in) but  (i) interviewed and selected and (ii) interviewed and not selected
  13. Provide the details of procedure of how such candidates as mentioned in 8 are contacted and name the officer/officers in charge and his/their designation responsible for this act.
  14. Kindly provide the list of Deans and their subject /branch /department at DTU during January 2012 to till date.
  15. Copy of the agenda item and minutes of meeting of approval from BOM (Board of Management) of DTU for inclusion of Dean/Deans in the selection committee  in various discipline as per DTU act…..
  16. Kindly provide the name and designation of the officer in charge  responsible if there is no record for questions no. 11
  17. Kindly provide the name of the officer in charge who have included only one dean irrespective of his specialization in selection committee for all discipline  violating DTU act
  18. Kindly provide specific role of the VC, PVC and Registrar in the recruitment process for the posts as mentioned in 1.
  19. Provide the copy of dissent note, if submitted by any member/subject expert/concerned Head of Department  of the screening committee
  20. Provide the copy of the action taken report on dissent note by the Chairman, Screening Committee and DTU administration
  21. Provide the copy of the file noting and minutes of meeting in which screening of application is finalized without involving subject expert/head of concerned department and name the department for which this has happened, if any
  22. Kindly inform the Name the officer in charge responsible who have completed the screening of applications for the post of Professor and Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Biotechnology and Engineering Physics
  23. Copy of the minutes of meeting of screening committee for providing relaxation to any candidate for calling for interview without fulfilling essential qualification and experience as advertised.
  24. Copy of corundum made available in public domain for such relaxation as mentioned in 19.
  25. Kindly provide copy of  rule for fixing the responsibility for lapses in recruitment process
  26. Kindly provide the Name the officer in charge of DTU responsible for not making the corundum  (as mentioned in 23) available ,in case it is not done
  27. Copy of The Documents submitted by the candidates who have joined DTUS as professor for fulfilling “Six years of experience in PB4 scale with AGP Rs. 9000pm at Associate Professor level” criteria as per advertisement.
  28. Provide the Name the officer in-charge responsible for verification of documents mentioned in 26.

Please provide all relevant documents/answers preferably in soft copy/compact disc.
