telecom regulato authority law regarding punishment of fake sms
Sir,
I have recieved so many fake sms frequently same sms again again again………repeately ,so i want to know the rule to oppose such kind of fake sms.There are so many company send same sms again & again please send me copy of rule against it.

these type of sms can be deactivated by dailing number 1909
Dear Applicant,you can get in touch with your network operator and register a complaint with details or call 1909 to Activate DND.
i have already call 1909 to activate DND but it is useless i am still getting fake sms/call & some time genuine sms in bulk.

If you are still getting fake sms/calls, then file a FIR to nearby police station as it is punishable vide Section 66A of ITAA 2008.
FIR AGAINST whom either service provider or organisation which is sending sms
The FIR has to be filed against the organisation sending the SMSs.
If you are unable to activate DND, you can contact the service provider. Normally this matter should be resolved by DND itself but if it persists you can also complain to TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) against the service provider as they have been unsuccessful in providing the DND service to you.
As such RTI will not be of great help in this issue.
