Dear sir/madam,

I want to know how could a faculty in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali had become a professor and the rules to become a professor on a promotion in the following way.

1). Provide the rules and regulations of IISER Mohali to promote an Associate  Professor to Professor.

2). Provide the qualifications of a faculty that one should have to become a professor

3). What were the qualifications of  Dr.Arvind those he had when he was promoted from Associate Professor to a Professor?

4). What were the qualifications of Dr.Arvind those were considered by IISER Mohali during the promotion?

5). Who were the members in the committee those who promoted Dr. Arvind as a professor?

6).If you considered his research experience, provide the number of Ph.D’s and number of Scientific papers that he had produced after finishing his Post doctoral studies and just before he got promoted?

7). Did you make this process official and did the Institute members (all) know officially?  If yes, provide the proof? (other than changing the designation in the faculty profile of Institute website). If no, strong reasons for that?

8). If IISER Mohali promoted Dr.Arvind on the basis of his help in building the institute, Can IISER mohali provide promotions to all the faculty and a Ph.D degree to the students by considering their contribution in building the institute?
