Information regarding banning of third party import( Non-Coking Coal) at Dharamtar Port, Ispat Jetty by the Regional office, Maharashtra Control Board, Raigad

1) Please give us details of numbers of mini sea port of Maharashtra where third party import of  Non-Cocking coal is banned due to Air Pollution by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.

2) on what basis the import of  Non-Cocking Coal  at PNP Jetty, Raigad is not banned though it is only 100 meters away Dharamport, Ispat Jetty citing the reason of air-pollution as transportation of  NON-Cocking Coal is done through trucks and  Conveyor belt facility is not available. In PNP Jetty also the transportation of Non-Cocking Coal is carried through trucks and no Conveyor belt facility is available at PNP Jetty.

 

3) Is the Konkan Mumbai Sagri Kinara Bachav Samiti, Raigad is a registered body and the date on which it get registered.

    Dear Sir,
    Please provide us the details of the govt. department associated with your query, the address of this govt. department, Name of the Public Information Officer.

    Also, you need to specify – point-by point, which kind of document are you seeking from thos Govt. Office.

    Please note, that RTI applications have to be very specific and is “legally” meant to ask for just the information. Based on the Information received by the government authority, you can use that document to either file a case/expose it etc.

    following information :

    2) Please provide me with the copy of G.O. or any other law on which basis the import of Non-Cocking Coal at PNP Jetty, Raigad is not banned though it is only 100 meters away Dharamport, Ispat Jetty citing the reason of air-pollution as transportation of NON-Cocking Coal is done through trucks and Conveyor belt facility is not available. In PNP Jetty also the transportation of Non-Cocking Coal is carried through trucks and no Conveyor belt facility is available at PNP Jetty.
    3) Please provide me with the documentary evidence about registration of Konkan Mumbai Sagri Kinara Bachav Samiti, Raigad alongwith the copy of its registration certificate

    * There is a provision of penalty u/s. 20 (1) & (2)
    * Sec. 7 (9) “ An information shall ordinarily be provided in the form in which it is sought
    * As per sec. 7(3)(a) calculation of further fee should also be given to the applicant.
    * The information as sought does not come under section 8 of RTI,2005.and further as per
    section 8(j) “that the information which can not be denied to The Parliament or a State
    Legislature shall not be denied to any person.”
