This RTI is Regarding the JNTUKakinada 1st Year Syllabus
To change the syllabus at University level, there is a process of conducting Board Of Studies (BOS) meeting, approving the syallbus after the discussion. For the first time syllabus is changed in the year 2010 (R-10). In R-10, for English only 2 books are prescribed. Again in the Year 2011 – English Subject syllabus for 1st year students is revised, 3rd book is introduced. In 2012 it is revised again, now the new topics are added and few more books also added. To conduct the BOS meeting, BOS Chairman has to call for the books from the publishers. From those books, the team of experts will exercise and select the few books. Now I want the information like:
1. When the BOS meeting is called for the Revision of English Syllabus in 2012 ?
2. The date and details of the submission of books by the publishers?
3. Who are all the publishers submitted the books in the BOS meeting?
4. On what basis the BOS has selected the books without the names of Authors and location of the Publisher?
No information regarding PIO in the official website of JNTUK.
