Huge cost difference in purchasing the PC’s under DGTD rates with respect to Open tender

Sir,

Kindly furnish/provide information regarding the following under RTI act

 

  1. Purchase  of Desk Top PC’s in the year 2009-2010 & 2010-2011 in SAIL MTI, Ranchi & in SAIL CET Ranchi

  1. Furnish the Priced Purchase order copies showing the configuration details, warranty details, qty, and price and the agency on which the order has been placed.
  2. Whether the above PC’s are under AMC contract, if yes furnish the contract & work order copies along with contract price schedules.
  3. Furnish the information whether the computers are purchased under DGTD or Through Open Tender Enquiry.
  4. Furnish copies of tender enquiry floated.

Kindly note:

  1. There is a provision of penalty u/s. 20 (1) & (2) Sec. 7 (9) “An information shall ordinarily be provided in the form in which it is sought section 8(j) “that the information which cannot be denied to The Parliament or a State Legislature shall not be denied to any person.”
  2. IPO No.      of Rs— is enclosed as application fee. If you feel that above requested information does not pertain to your department then please follow the provisions of Section 6(3) of the RTI Act, 2005. As per the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005 please provide the details (Name and Designation) of the first appellate authority w.r.t your department with the reply to the above request, where I may if required file my first appeal.
  3. I do hereby declare that I am a citizen of India. Kindly provide me with the information at the address mentioned with the application. I request you to ensure that the information is provided before the expiry of the 30 day period after you have received the application.
