DC’s Comments
Provision of Additional Link Road from Sector dividing road of Sector-20-21 to Sector 26 Across Ghaggar river by Constructing a bridge. This had become essential due to massive construction activity in the area and all roads were getting choked. Large part of Link Road falls in District Mohali, Punjab Liasoning with Punjab Govt. would be required. Request: To approve the proposal in principle.
Departmental Comments
FCTCP informs that there is some dispute with Punjab and the case is pending in Supreme Court. Even then the Deptt. Is taking up this matter with the Punjab Govt..
Decision taken in the 5th DDRS
CS directed that FCTCP should take up the matter with the Punjab Government on priority basis. CS directed that FCTCP should take up the matter at personal level on top priority. He should also take immediate action regarding the pending court cases before the Hon’ble APeX court.with the Punjab Government on priority basis.

No intimation from FCTP has been received. However this office has sent D.O. letter to the FCTCP for expediting the matter.”
