Subject – Application to get information about “Process of recruitment and appointment of Director at IIIT
Allahabad” under Right to Information Act – 2005
Dear Sir,
With reference to the above mentioned subject, information against the following queries are sought:
1) Provide copies of guidelines and rules for advertisement for recruitment in the post of Director of IIIT,
Allahabad that were and are applicable since the establishment of IIIT, Allahabad with time-period during which
those were and are applicable.
2) Provide copies of guidelines and rules for selection of the members of the Search and Selection Committee in the
post of Director of IIIT, Allahabad that were and are applicable since the establishment of IIIT, Allahabad.
3) Provide list of names of newspapers and other publication agencies where MHRD has published recruitment
notices against each of the recruitment processes in case of recruitment and appointments of Director at IIIT,
Allahabad.
4) Provide copies of all the advertisements published in leading news papers and other publishing houses and
websites with times of publications of these advertisements for each of the recruitment processes in case of
recruitment and appointments of Director at IIIT, Allahabad.
5) Provide copies of all the applications submitted against each of the recruitment processes in case of recruitment
and appointments of Director at IIIT, Allahabad.
6) Provide copies of recommendations of Select and Search Committee along with names of members of these
Select and Search Committees for each of the recruitment processes in case of recruitment and appointments of
Director at IIIT, Allahabad.
7) Provide names of competent authorities who finally selected members of Select and Search Committees for each
of the recruitment processes in case of recruitment and appointments of Director at IIIT, Allahabad.
8) Provide copy of the letter or email through which IIIT, Allahabad first intimated the Office of Ministry of
Human Resource and Development on “adoption of the UGC (Institutions Deemed-to-be Universities) Regulations
2010 by the IIIT-A Society, setting forth revised MoA & Rules of IIIT-A Society at its Meeting held on November
15, 2011 and registration of Revised MoA and Rules of the IIIT-A Society under the Registration of Societies Act,
1860 on 26.11.2011”.
