Subject: Application for seeking information under RTI Act, 2005 for recruitments done after January 2012 in Education Multimedia Research Center (EMMRC) University of Kashmir.
Sir/Madam,
The University of Kashmir in the past five years advertised and conducted interviews for various posts viz Producers, Engineer, Production Assistant etc for EMMRC which has been functioning in the University since early 1990s. Many candidates who had applied for the above mentioned posts have been selected and appointed by the university.
In this regard and under the RTI Act, please provide the undersigned the following information.
1. True Copy of the advertisement notices for the posts filled after January 2012, and the list of candidates who were called for the interview with their qualifications.
2. True Copy of the recommendations made by the selection committees for the said posts (filled after January 2012 in EMMRC) including the post of producers and engineer for which the interview was held on November 12, 2012, and subsequent recruitment of production assistants in 2015 and any other post done after January 2012.
3. True Copy of the prescribed criteria on the basis of which the selection committee made the recommendations for the selection of the candidates recruited after January 2012 in EMMRC.
4. True Copy of points allotted to each candidate if point system was adopted during the selection of the candidates by the selection committees and break-up of the points each candidates secured, including in the interview and how much weight-age (points) was given for the interview.
5. Names and designations of the selection panel who conducted the said interviews (for the posts at EMMRC filled after January 2012.
6. The information may be provided as soon as possible and without canceling, adding or subtracting any of the information that may later amount to forgery by way of true copies being not legible or canceling by masking certain portions of information.
