AKASH Tablet PC for students

Sir,

I am an engineering student and want to know about the  availability of AKASH tablet pc, which has been just  released by central Government of  India .I would like to know when the tablet pc will be available for students from government and what will be the procedures to be  followed to obtain the tablet pc for students on students discount price.

    Dear Friend,

    RTI Anonymous is personally in touch with the IIT Bombay Professor who Designed the Tablet. It’s first phase is scheduled to be launched in November.
