Qualification of Teachers/Principal of Dr.Padiar Memorial Homoeo Medical College, Chottanikkara, Kerala to ensure quality education.
I would like to know the marks of Teachers/Principal employed in Dr. Padiar Memorial Homoeo Medical College, Chottanikkara, Kerala from SSLC onwards and their total qualifications attained and the duration of course with University/Board. This is required as I doubt about the quality of education given from this college to students. There are teachers who do not know to write English words correctly like “Practical” being written as “Practicle” and so on

The information about the specific marks of the teachers/principal maybe a complete private matter, outside the purview of he RTI Act 2005
The requestor should actually write a complaint to the university board, but the quality of education.

It is not clear if this college is run by state govt or funded or controlled by any govt. Hence you need to file RTI application with SPIO of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam to which it is affiliated seeking details required by you. Please refer attached file for procedure etc.

This college is run by a private Trust and is not a Public Authority. Hence this doesn’t come under the purview of RTI Act.
Dr. Padiar Homoeopathic Medical College is an Aided College. Direct Payment has been introduced in this college from 01/01/2000 onwards. Qulaification determines the pay scales. But before the direct payment was introduced the Management has made some irregular appointments which have been regularized when direct payment was introduced. The Management has only furnished the list of permanenet teachers to the Government for regularization and their minimum qualifications have not been verified except that they are Homoeo Doctors, Before the BHMS was introduced there were courses of Diploma in Homoeo which did not require Pre-Degree or equivalent. When Diploma holders with Pre-Degree was alone permitted to do Graded BHMS to equilize with BHMS Degree, this college has misutilized the order and permitted the Diploma Holders without Pre-Degree also to do these course. Some of these people have been appointed as teachers in this college. To bring this to light the following RTi is essential. Govt. of Kerala is paying UGC equivalent salary to the teachers of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges also. So this is a National Crime as persons without attaining necessary qualifications are being appointed as teachers in this institution.
Though this College is run by a Private Management, in Kerala there exists a system of funding the college by State Government called Direct Payment. hence, salary,benefits etc of employees of this college is given by the State Government through the treasury. Hence, all norms & rules of the State Government is also applicable to this College and also comes under the RTI.
