IIT Kharagpur funds & expenditures
1. Please provide a detailed balance sheet which covers expenditures in details as to amount spent in infrastructure, departmental grants, equipment, student amenities etc.
2. Please release the tender details of the Diamond Jubilee Sovereigns (batches, pens, identity card strap and others, if any). How many of these were ordered and what was the total cost of all these.
3. What was the expenditure in organizing the convocation (involving the decorations in TOAT, PM’s convoy etc.) in 2011? How much was it in 2010?
4. Please furnish financial details of all the ongoing construction in the institute (Nalanda, LBS, roads, SAC, etc.). Also release the plan as to by when the construction was supposed to be completed & why it hasn’t till date?
Hi, for point No.1, u will ge these information in the Annual Report of IIT Kharagpur, wich is a public document and is placed always n the IIT's Library. For point No.2, 3 and 4 seperate RTI requests will be filed.

As the RTI application fee is Rs. 10/- for EACH information, the fee would be Rs. 30/-.
Also pl. declare that you are an Indian Citizen at the outset as otherwise the RTI application is returned sometimes. (Strange ways to delay information).
