Property Tax assesment in Mumbai
The Mumbai Municipal Corporation does the Property assesment taxes
But within the same colony the rates vary very much for a similar property constructed within the same period.
This anamoly is to be rectified.
I want to file a RTI on this.

The Property Tax charged to the Flats located at 5th and 6th Floor of Builing No.s 206,207,208,209,210 at New Pant Nagar,RN Narkar Marg,Ghatkopar-East,Mumbai-400075
If the property tax rates vary from building to building,the reasons for the same.

Your request comes under the purview of RTI Act 2005
But we feel that the request submitted by you, does not need you to be anonymous and hence we do not perceive any threat to you in filing this RTI Application.
To file this RTI Application you need to send postal order worth Rs. 35 (Rs 10 as fees for processing the application and Rs 25 as speed post charges of the reply) along with your RTI Application to the given address.
