The following details are requested under the RTI Act
1) Date, time, duration, agenda/reason, place of meeting of Home Minister, Shri P.Chidambaram with Shri Anil Dhirubhai Ambani ever since Shri P. Chidambaram took charge as Home Minister.
2) What is the standard procedure for seeking an appointment with Home Minister ?
3) Which of these meetings (mentioned as reply to question 1) were pre-scheduled and followed the standard procedure (mentioned as reply to question 2) ? Provide details of how the meeting was scheduled as in the date & time of the receipt of application.
4) Are there any minutes of the meetings (mentioned in question 1) ? If yes, provide a soft copy of the same.

2) Please provide me information regarding the meetings of Home Minister, Shri P.Chidambaram with Shri Anil Dhirubhai Ambani ever since Shri P. Chidambaram took charge as Home Minister as categorized below:
a) Date and time,
c) Duration,
d) Agenda/reason,
e) Place of meeting,
f) copy of request for meeting from either of two parties
g) Minutes of Meeting.
Please provide me above asked information for each meeting among two.

Thanks for the revision.
Can you please include a statement saying that we would prefer the information in an e-format ? The reply to most (if not all) of our questions will be prepared in a word document. I think it will be cheaper for us to get the information in this way.
This is just a suggestion. If you folks dont agree to it, it is fine with me and you can take it to the next stage.

Thanks for posting the reply. Quite strange that they evaded even answering the first question of the RTI application which is “What is the standard procedure for seeking an appointment with Home Minister ?”
It would be very difficult to believe that no one keeps track of who enters the Home Ministers Chamber on a daily basis.
Would appreciate if you can take it forward too the appellate authority.

I think we had left a loophole in our RTI request. We asked for the
details of the meeting between PC and Anil Ambani and filed it with Home
Ministry. The home ministry might not have the details about the meeting
that could have taken place in mumbai at a CII conference b/w Anil Ambani
and PC. Looks like thats how they avoided answering this question
Just wanted to bring this out to your notice so that you can file the
appeal accordingly.
