We will inform you as soon as we get a reply.

  3. NO BAKWAS says:

What has happened to this RTI request ? There has been no reply, which is unlawful. So what do you intend to do next ?

  4. Param Dhar says:

This RTI Application was rejected by the PIO saying that “this Deptt is not concerned authority of the said matter.”

  5. Sky Walker -- RTI Anonymous Team Member says:

    He is required to transfer..

But SIC/CIC cannot guarantee an strict action for such rejections..

Only way is to file a first appeal, saying that this is related to your department..

In Parallel, you can file a complain with SIC/CIC. sometimes complaint against such issues works out.

  6. NO BAKWAS says:

Of course, they will say this. It is expected. This is a deptt. of dalals for promoters. This deptt managed over ONE THOUSAND ESTATES mainly belonging to Christians, Jews, Parsees and Armenians. They manage over ten thousand properties in Calcutta and all over West Bengal. I did not think they would reply at all. So therefore, come on RTIA, here is a very BIG FISH to catch. Maybe we can put aside the little fish and catch this BIG ONE. Lets do it.

  7. NO BAKWAS says:

What is the status of this application now ?

  8. Amulya - RTI Anonymous Team Member says:

We got a very vague reply from them, and as we earlier experienced the SIC of West Bengal isnt a very strict person so filing an appeal would also not give us the answers. As, we found ourselves hopeless on this RTI we failed to take any action.
