3) Subject matter of Information: The Ministry of Environments & Forests has granted ‘Clearance’ to Phase 1 of ‘Lavasa’ Project in Pune, In this regard Mr.Sharad Pawar (MoAg..-NCP), went to meet Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and the P.M. in an effort to try and expedite the ‘Clearance’ for the project.. Lavasa is situated in the midst ofVirginForest area, and the Promoters / Builders / Politicians had flouted all regulations in getting it started.

5) Description of Information required:
a) I would like to know all the grounds on which MoEF had stayed the project .
b) The grounds on which Lavasa Project has been cleared and communication done in the matter between MoEF officials. including Judiciary Review of the matter
c) Details of the correspondences and discussions Mr Pawar had in his meetings with Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and also with the P.M. to try and convince them to get MoEF to clear the Project..

Dear Max,
1. All the details that you want would be available in the Mumbai High Court judgement which will be in the public domain and available at any caselaw website soon.It will have the objections of MoEF,the reply of Lavasa, details of the Maharastra government case filed in Pune, compliance report of Lavasa and finally the clearance by MoEF. The RTI will probably take longer to give you this information.
2. As regards Mr Sharad Pawar the reply you will most probably get:
(a) There is no record of visit of the Hon’ble Agriculture Minister to Chairperson NAC.Or/and
(b) Visit of Mr S Pawar to Mrs Sonia Gandhi being personal in nature is beyound the purview of RTIA.
3. I would recommend you wait for the detailed judgement to be made public.
