  1. Furnish
    the list of E8 grade executives attending executive director post
    interviews, who had undergone medical treatment like bypass surgery, other
    medical problems and incurred heavy expenditure on medical, since 2001
    onwards and their career growth. Furnish names and their contributions to
    the organization? Furnish their TA bills for the past 10 years and the
    reasons and tour details.
  2. Furnish
    the ACR’s for last 10 years, qualification (including, discipline,
    division, Institute), experience, units and place of posting in their
    career? Date of birth, college they have passed, place of birth whether
    they have been charge sheeted, vigilance case in their career, their date
    of joining, entry level in SAIL for the General Managers who are attending
    Executive Directors Interview. Furnish their reporting & reviewing
    offices details. Furnish the GM’s nature of job, departments worked in
    their career, period they have worked in each grade.
  3. Furnish
    the vacancies in E6, E7, E8 & E9 since 2001 onwards. Against the
    vacancies how many executives are being promoted? What is the transfer
    policy of each grade? Whether it has been followed in each promotion? Furnish
    grades of Executives of E6, E7, E8 since 2001 along with DPC markings and
    the reasons? Whether an executive got bad grades given reporting &
    reviewing officer for more than 5 consecutive years has been rotated? Is
    there such rotation policy in SAIL? Kindly furnish the details.
  4. Furnish
    the list of executives who has been promoted E5 grade to E6 grade, E6
    grade to E7 grade, E7 to E8 more than 8 years since 2001 onwards? Furnish
    the ACR’s and the reasons to be furnished, also furnish their
    qualification, their nature of job? Their place of Posting? Furnish  the names of reporting & reviewing
    officers, their qualifications including their discipline & institute
    they passed, their date of joining in SAIL and the entry level(like MT(T)
    or in non EXE or in intermediate level),their place of birth, their
    domicile state, the jobs they handled. Furnish the DPC list since 2001
    from SAIL Units.
  5.  What are the compositions of Technical
    & Non Technical cadre? Furnish the departments where a non technical
    Executive director can handle.
  6. Furnish
    the report of training undergone at abroad by E7&E8 grade executives under
    MDP since 2001 and their contribution to the organization.
  7. What
    would be expenditure incurred by sail for calling General Managers to SAIL
    Corporate office New Delhi for interview. Furnish the list of General Managers.
  8. Is
    there any 360 degree feedback policy in SAIL? Whether SAIL is following
    the promotion policy Norms of DPE or Other Maharatna units? Whether SAIL
    is following the Executive Grade structure as followed in other Maharatna
    Units or as per Rao committee? Furnish the details.
  9. DO
    sail has compensation package for the executives who has been victimized
    by reviewing and reporting officer? Do SAIL have independent committee to
    review such cases where qualified executives (from reputed Institutes)got
    promotion   8 years and more years
    in each grade? Whether there is method to check such atrocities,
    discriminations? Do SAIL maintain a regional balance in Promotions? Whether
    the affected executives has appealed the management?
  10. Do
    SAIL maintain record of executives who has been charge sheeted, had vigilance
    cases in their career? Furnish the names.

    I sincerely feel that the applicant should crystallize his thoughts and tell us what exactly he wants to bring out from the heaps of information he is asking. Analyzing the information received (if it is given) itself will take hell a lot of time & energy.
    The RTI Act has been enacted to get the information from the Public Authorities towards bringing transparency and accountability, both of which would help in reducing corruption and at the same time increasing efficiency in governance.
    I feel that every applicant should be precise and to the point when he is seeking information from the Public Authorities.
