Information needed from delhi high court
there was a company started back in 1987, they invested people’s money in the property and gave back the money with interest, everything went well till 2000, but in april 2000 their directors were arrested and all the accounts were sealed and all the hard earned money of around 25 lakh people got stuck
..
Now then in 2004 supreme court made a committee to sell the properties and give back the money to people but i dont think anything is really happening, 7 years have passed and lakhs of people are just getting nothing… there is approximate 1500 crores rupees to be given back… SO i want to file an RTI in high court about the case, like what is being done now and has been done in the previous 7 years, how much property is sold and till when the people can expect their money to be returned and all the related info…
So please help me making an rti, also i want to make sure, that i dont need anonymity, just help from you people that what should i write in the application

Strictly from a RTI Act 2005 point of view, all that you can ask is specific copies of documents from government departments and organization, that is funded by the government.
Now the company you are mentioning is a private institution and they do no come under the purview of RTI and you cannot file RTI on them. These documents that you are actually seeking will not be with the high-court actually.
If you are one of those 25 lakh person, who is stuck and have not got the payment back, then gather atleast 10-15 people, who are in the same situation and file a complaint to the court again. The court needs to ask the private company to show documents, that show the payment details.
