department of sail units at Ranchi for transfer on compassionate grounds since
2010. How many applications have been not forwarded to the committee and the
reasons for not forwarding? Whether it has been intimated to the applicants by
personnel department about the reasons? Furnish their names. Whether they have
given special promotion? Furnish documentary evidences in support of it. - Furnish
the list of executives joined as MT(T) in SAIL plants in 1978 to 1982. Their
career growth. Furnish their names. - Furnish
the names of executives who has joined as MT(T) in 1978 to 1982, and who has
not got promotion even after completion of 8 and above. Reasons for not giving
promotion. Whether they have been intimated about bad grades as per the policy/
whether he has been rotated as per policy? Whether the executive asked for
transfer? Furnish their names, their nature of job? - Furnish
the list of executives who joined from other than sail since
1990’s and their career growth. Furnish the details of their appointment
against the requirement. Furnish the details of advertisement/requirement.
Furnish their names, their qualification, their date and place of birth,
details of previous organization, their previous experience details etc? - Can
production engineers without any field experience posted in design &
engineering of instrumentation & automation sections of SAIL authorized for
approval of drawings, making FR, technical specification? - Can
production engineers will be given promotions superseding the qualified
instrumentation engineers from reputed institutes in that section? - Can
a diploma food technologists and a diploma petroleum technologist(who do not
studied at least physics, chemistry, mathematics in their diploma) without any field experience posted in design
& engineering of coke and chemical
sections of SAIL authorized for approval of drawings, making FR,
technical specification? Whether SAIL personnel department checked while recruiting? - Can
a food technology holder and petroleum technology holder will be given faster
promotions superseding the qualified chemical engineers from reputed institutes
in coal and chemical section? What would be qualification required for posting
in coal and chemical departments in SAIL? - Furnish
the list of executives in SAIL units who had degree in production, food
technology, and petroleum discipline, their place of working, their promotions,
and their entry level. - Furnish
names of Executives working in SAIL units at E6 and above, and joined as Non
executive cadre(TA etc). - Whether
there is separate line of Promotion for MT(T)’s joining in SAIL? As other
Maharatna PSU units like NTPC, OIL companies followed? Why SAIL has not merged
the grades and not followed the Rao Committee recommendation? Why have not
followed the footsteps of other PSU?
Whether SAIL has
followed vacancy policy at E6 grade, E7 grade, E8 grade 7 E9 grade promotions?
This is similar to the remaining 4-5 similar SAIL RTI requests, that do not warrant an RTI

Comments from RK on this request are as follows;
1.Reason for transfer in any Govt Organisation is always exigencies’ unless proved to the contrary by the aggrieved.
2.Most of the information sought now is supposed to be available in the website of the organisation disclosed under section 4 of the RTI Act.
3.Most Information sought here are huge and I do not know how u r going to analyse these statistics to prove ur point. After all, what u r going to prove with these statistics, if mad e clear to us, we can advise u a proper action plan.
4. CIC has ruled that ACRs are not to be provided under the RTI Act.
