since last 5 years media reports show Maharshatra Raj Bhavan has Peacoaks and Rabbits. It is illegal under wildlife act of the country and also as per HC order to keep wildlife such as Peacock or Hares etc in captivity. Indian Rabbits r however domestic. India is signatory to International Exotic spices convention which prevents them to be kept in private in captivity.Common citizen can not know much about Raj bhavan wild life as its being a restricted area and how fare rules and laws is followed inside its four walls.

Firstly this query should go to the Governor’s Office and not CM’s office. However, there is some information on this on the website – http://rajbhavan.maharashtra.gov.in/florafauna/default.htm
Apparently, the animals and birds there are in a natural forest area. Please go through the link. If you are still not satisfied, do go ahead and file a RTI application by finding out the PIO’s name. This need not be filed anonymously.
