Regarding the never ending projects under the World Bank funding….
It really difficult to understand how some projects under World Bank assistance is continuing since 1989[Vocational Training Improvement Projects(VTP)] at DGE&T under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. In most cases the salary of the Officers are drawn from the the Projects head who never worked or even know that their salary is drawn from the World Bank project.
Most of the times some officials specifically Delhi basede; Start the projects and sfift to another only to save their transfer out of delhi i.e. after in 2007 the Vocational Training Improvement Projects (VTIP) in 2007. More or less the officers remains same except some retirement.
In total there are around 32 officials are working in the same office in the name of project.[ VTP & VTIP bother World Bank projects]
Can any volounteer in the apex forrum can raise the issue…?
