Post of Senior Divisional safety Officer Bikaner given to S&T department fron traffic

1. IS IT TRUE THAT ONE POST OF TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT GIVEN TO S&T DEPARTMENT TO OPERATE POST OF SR DSO BIKANER.

2.IF SO WHY IT WAS DONE. ARE THERE OFFICERS OF TRAFFIC CADRE AVALABLE TO BE POSTED/ PROMOTED ON THIS POST.

3.HOW MANY POST OF SR DSO/ DSO HELD BY TRAFFIC CADRE OFFICER ON NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY.

4.IS IS TRUE THAT NOT A SINGLE OFFICER HOLD THE POST IN SAFETY DEPARTMENT I.E. CSO ,DY CSO ,SR DSO AND DSO.

5.WHETHER TRAFFIC CADRE OFFICERS CAN BE POSTED IN SAFETY DEPARTMENT. IF WHY NOT TILL NOW.

6.WHETHER TRAFFIC CADRE OFFICERS ARE AVAILABLE TO BE POSTED AS SR DSO , DSO AND DY CSO ON NWR.

    Dear Sir,
    Your Questions are unable to understand the basic problems which is needed to draft the RTI. Please explain more.
    Safety Officer posts like CSO/DY.CSO/Sr.DSO/DSO Posts are for all dept officers and it is not for any particular dept.

    We the Traffic Officers are at loss due to Traffic cadre post are occypied by other cadre officers. We want that post of Sr DSO Bikaner should be given Traffic officers. Presently this post is given to Signal and Telecomm officer. It is unjustice to Traffic officer. In all Railways some Traffic Officer posted as CSO, DY CSO, SR DSO, DSO .But on North Western Railway this is not followed. Hence promotion chances of Traffic officers can increased. I request to someone to file RTI application. As I am afraid of victimisation. Please help.

    Hello Mr.josafphilip, Whether the post of CSO,DSO or Sr.DSO etc., are to be filled by promoting Cadre officers or not is governed by the Cadre & Recruitment Rules (usually known as C&R Rules) of the Dept. You may ask for the copy of C&R Rules to get the answer to all of ur queries. Usually when there is no sanctioned post of CSo,DSO etc.,the post is filled by the persons from S & T Dept.
    You may try to get the C&R Rules for this.
