Sub: Application under the RTI Act, 2005
Sir,
I would like to get below information of the road: Kakrari – Chitaura Road, Gohad, Bhind under the RTI Act, 2005.
Period: 1 Jan 2001– 31Nov 2011
- Please provide the list of agencies who carried out road construction during this period, the purpose for which it was carried out and the exact date, when it was carried out.
- Please provide me with the details of all the contracts of the above mentioned Road;
a. Period for which they were awarded the contract,
b. Agency to which the contract was awarded
c. Amount of money deposited, if any, by each of these agencies and dates of such deposit.
d. What was the guarantee period of the each of these agencies. - Please provide the exact reasons, on why these roads are broken currently.
- Please provide the exact name of the officer, who was responsible for checking the quality of the roads. Please provide me with the copy of the details of the report submitted by these officers.
- Please provide me that when did guarantee clause came into effect in Madhya Pradesh and what are the guarantee clause applicable in Madhya Pradesh?
- Please mention what was the guarantee clause, if any and whether it has been invoked so far in this period, if yes, Please provide the copy of the document, which shows these guarantee clause
- List the complaints received for this road in this period and the action taken against the people responsible.
- Please provide the date, when the road was last repaired and the scheduled date for the next repair of the above said road.
- Please provide the exact number of times repairs (both minor and major) been carried out on the roads.
- Please provide the date and time when an officer carried out an inspection of the roads mentioned above?
- Please provide the copy of the report submitted by the officer during the last inspection.
- Please provide me the information on often and with what frequency is the above mentioned officer supposed to carry out inspection of the road in question and check their condition
- If this complaint does not fall within your department, then according to Section 6(3) of RTI Act,2005, Please forward this application to the correct PIO.
ALL THE INFORMATION OR DOCUMNETS SHOULD BE IN ATTESTED PHOTOCOPIES/FORM.Note: This road starts from Morar, Gwalior(in Gwalior District) and then comes in Bhind region from Kakrari to Chitaura ( in Bhind District) and I want information about road which comes under Bhind District.

Dear Applicant, it’s no use filing this RTI unless you tell us under which department it falls and that would not be hard for you to find out. Also pl find out the relevant PIO. Pl also note that your question 5 and 8 do not come under RTI as they are interrogative/casting aspersions kind of queries. In RTI you can seek only the existing information. Almost 45 days are over, we haven’t received the reply of this RTI, what to do next ? Do Ritesh has received any reply from the PIO regarding the money required to send the information.
Sometimes it takes a bit longer for PIOs to reply to the RTI Application.I think we should wait for a few more days before filing appeal.
I think its right time to file an appeal as almost 75 days are over, so please help me out to file appeal in State PIO.
After 75 days you cannot file an appeal…
It could be easily reject on the grounds of not appealed as per the RTI act
A month ago, I was told to wait for some more time. But then all has happened …. Now What should be the most feasible solution. Please Suggest me.

PIO might save him by saying some legalities were missing in my application – As I did not write Postal Order Number on Application,
What are the enclosures while submitting this application.
As the RTI was filed on the name of Ritesh Singh, So do I’ll have to sign his name only.
Technically, writing IPO number in RTI application is not mandatory. But it is required that you enclose the IPO with your application.
For proceeding further like appeals and complaints you need the IPO No that you attached along with the Application. So that PIO cannot escape saying required fee in not enclosed.. [ Even if you missed out on enclosing the fee, its the duty of the PIO to return back your RTI application, and inform you about the procedure of applying for information under RTI. This is mandatory as u/s 5(5) of the RTI Act ]
Don’t worry about the outcome of complaint, just file a complaint to SIC.
In parallel proceed with a fresh application, and do remember mention about the IPO details in the RTI application.
