This RTI Application is Ready to File. We request the applicant to file this RTI Application themselves as we are running short of volunteers to file RTI Applications. The volunteers of our organization are concentrating on more serious RTI Applications in which the applicants have a threat to their life or safety.
Please post a comment (preferably with Speed post Consignment Number) under your application after having filed the RTI Application as it will help us keep track of the application.

It will be great if you could post it as well! I know I sound like some lazy person who wants everything ready made.. but I would like to add, that I would like to bear all the expenses incurred in filing of my RTI, and going to the first appeal etc.. but just that I am not able to take out time.. :-(
I was just thinking that if you could have a “subscription service” for eg. in which I pay you 100 rs per month.. and in return you file 8 or 9 RTIs for me each month…?? or something of this sort…

      • Anand - RTI Anonymous Team Member says:

RTI-Anonymous was started with an intention to protect people and RTI activists, who percieve a threat to their life or otherwise.
RTI-Anonymous was not intended for people who are “not able to take out time.. ” to file for RTI’s

RTI-Anonymous was originally conceptualised as a self funding “not for money” initiative. We never wanted to even collect any donations .. I can fund this whole organization, myself.
The donation option is considered as a mark of appreciation for all the efforts, our volunteers put in.
So yes we do not have a subscription service to collect nor are we planning to have one.

Having said all that, the question u have asked above is pertinent. Since u are “not able to take out time” to file this yourself, we would be filing this one ourselves, but at a lower priority.

No This RTI has not been filed. You can go ahead and file it.

In general, there are two ways to find whether an RI is filed or not.
      1) Just below the title of this post, you will see what category this RTI is .. For example this one says “Drafted RTI’s (Ready to Print)”
Which means its not yet filed.

      2) if an RTI is filed, we urge every person who files the RTI to put the speed post number of the application. This helps us in two ways.
It helps the original requestor to keep track of his application
It also helps us to know that this is indeed been filed.

Once its filed (i.e. we get the speed post number) — we move this post to Filed RTI Category ourselves. and then after we recieve a satisfactory reply, we move this to RTI-A Success Story Category. (Check the various categories on the right of this webpage
I hope I have answered your questions. If not, ping me on Facebook anytime and I can provide u more clarification
      Anand Sharma
