your query is vague. A farmer can use pesticides according to his choice, right? So, why are you asking the agricultural dept? If you have a reason to invoke RTI pl be specific.Why should the agri dept give you the formulations – they are all there on the pesticide packagings.
First sorry to say that you don’t know anything on the RTI i mentioned, its not the farmers who decide its the agri department, they have a registration process, i am doing a study on that, so on those lines i want.
1) agri department decides which pesticide for which crop and pest-crop combination, they have the application procedure and recommended usage levels, so on those lines i have place the RTI. Any further queries you can ask me. My intention is not to prove you wrong No Offences meant. This is a serious RTI which i need for my study, will be published in public domain once i get all the data.

Sorry for my ignorance in this matter but you asked for `registered trade names with their formulations’ – to that i said it is all there on the cover of the pesticide cans or whatever. Also your query was not clear. Tks Nightwatch for the spadework
@night watch, 1) the RTI is For Trade NAmes and also there are various combinations illegally used i want to know first what are all the different combinations which are recommended which is not there in the Rice knowledge portal.
@vinita see it is humanly impossible to look at the trade names and no one is willing to give, if i go and ask they see me as a threat, instead they see illegal combinations for the farmers so it is impossible for me to get the trade names of 700 combinations and that is the reasson i applied for the RTI. If you could help me it would be of great help, I want that from Tamil Nadu Agri department as , it is different for different state.

2. RTI will not get you unofficial/illegal information.
3. Since you feel your well being is threatened in obtaining this information, it is fine, I shall file the RTI on your behalf to get the trade names.Please provide me the following:
(a) In tabular form the paddy diseases and the chemical combination of related pesticide.
(b) The ruling under TN agri deptt is required to maintain a database of pesticide tradenames.
(c) Details of any other public authority which will have this information.
4. Point 3(b) is important because without it the RTI will get a response ‘information not available with this deptt’. I hope I have got your requirement correct this time.
