Paying water tax for Mantri Splendor without any water supply from Govt.
Dear Sir,
While we do not have cuavery water access or any other government provision in our appartment in Mantri Splendor, we are paying water charges to government from past 5 years. Can you please clarify towards what account this is being paid?

Can you please give us more information regarding this like water bill and if possible can you give us payment details as to when payments were done? That would help us a lot.
Eventhough you are not getting water supply from govt agency in this case BWSSB you are allowing sewage or waste water of your apartment to BWSSB sewer system for this reasion the govt agency is collecting treatement charges for the same
I agree with the above reply. One has to pay for allowing your Flats' sewage water to flow into Govt lands. A similar case I had fought with the authorities in Chennai and convinced that there is a provision in the Law for this.

Forgot one thing. Pl check what u r paying is only Tax and not water charges. Yhese r 2 dfferent things. Water charges comes when u start getting water supply. Water Tax u pay even when u r not getting water. This is for using the land allowing ur Flats' sewer to flow in the land.
