Could you kindly help out in redressing the problem of touts in most of the sub registrars office of Bangalore.
Further I would also like to know how to go about the registration proces for sale of land and building. How do we calculate the stamp duty, and do we require to take prior appointment, or prior clearance of the Sub register to register the deeds. My previous experience has been really unprintable, money,money for every signature for which I had to put.
Please help me out, I have to sell one more property. Do guide me how to go about
Hi,for registering a sale Deed, first get te document drafted by a Deed writer or an Advocate. With this if u go to sub registrar's office, they will let u know the amount of stamp duty and the regisration charges to be paid by u before registering the document. No need to get any prior appointment for this.The deed writer or the advocate will tell u what r the documents to be produced by u with the Sub registrar

Not so is the case in Mumbai’s registrar’s office located in Goregaon west and Borivali west,where nothing moves without the touts and bribes,please check for your self.There is always ways they find to take money by pointing silly mistakes in the drafts and delaying tactics thus encouraging touts,whose route is preferred.
Dear Danial, First u should come out from ur comfort zone. For any work, self effort should be there to complete the work the way in which we wanted it to. It is true, that the officers in the Sub Registry will always find some fault or the other to test ur patience or ur paying capacity. If u makeup ur mind not to pay bribe, u will always find a way to comply those requirements. But u should be able to tell those guys that u r not paying bribes. Any queries they raise should be in one take. If they try to raise queries every time u sould be able to tell them on their face and in the presence of public that they should guide the public and not harass as they are a service Dept. You try this once, then u will be training other onlookers also not to pay bribe.
