What they said : within 45 days money would be refunded

Problem : More than 7 months passed, still no information .

When Queried through “The Tax Information Network of Income Tax Department” , i got the below status

REFUND STATUS
   Permanent Account Number (PAN)     AKZPR0252L
   Assessment Year     2010-2011
  1. Your assessing officer has not sent this refund to Refund Banker.
  2. If this refund has been sent by your Assessing Officer within the last week, you may wait for a week and again check status.

    Dear Param/Anand/Admin,

    Kindly move this request to closed as i recieved the refund within 15 days of posting this site.

    This site is awesome.

    You should see how the officer was blushin for the delay.She also called n number of times to ascertain if there is any other discrepancies..

    I really relinguished the power of RTI today…:)

    will circulate the word of this website as much as possible .!
