    Dear Mr Sumit
I think that your query does not farm a part of RTI Act 2005 because corporate companies are not abided under it

    • Anand - RTI Anonymous Team Member says:

I agree Moving this to Non-RTI Category

    • sumit_y1 says:

      Dear Sir

My RTI was for Drug Inspector he is a Public Servant as per the constitution and as per law he should have collected the sample twice in a year and send it for analysis. As per drug & cosmetic act 2005.

I think you should check it out, also I have laready filed this RTI, but though I was given a verbal reply that since last 4 years they have never checked composition of any herbal or metalic origin( Herbo mineral) drug but the same has not been given inwriting, in writing they are giving some answers which doesn’t relate to te question.

It is very important as private companies are using poor qlty stds but the govt agenciese are not counterchecking them, ayurvedic practitioners are prescribing these meds to their patients.

80% of indian population usese Ayurvedic Drug even DRUG Like LIV 52 & Chywanprash has metalic origin drug,

      Regards

In last 5 years Rs 4000 Crores have been expend on these agencies, but they are not even doing the basics,

In a seperate event, I have given a written complaint also to the Central drug Inspector Mr. Gaurav Sharma over the inconsistency in the quality of an Ayurvedic drug in Sept 2011 but even after two months I didn’t got a reply, when I filed an RTI in order to Know what are the action taken by them again they gave an answer which doesn’t relate to the RTI raised

  3. sumit_y1 says:

If some more RTI will go their doors they may get aware that people are now awake and they are asking questions otherwise tey will keep on sleeping, in next 5 years Rs 47500 Crore will be spend on them, the top level officials of AYUSH have opened up there own factories just shared

    • sumit_y1 says:

I have made this RTI as many Ayurvedic Companies such as Baidyanath Jhansi, are making metalic drug but they don’t check the purity of raw materials even if they are metal, suppose to form Kajjalli they require 100 gm mercury and 100 gm sulfur, if mercury is 99.9 % pure and sulfur is 98 % pure than almst 2gm mercury will remain unreacted, and even the official know this but they are not acting.

Metalic drug preparation is an important branch of Ayurveda and is very eefective but for eg: take the case of LIV 52 it is a very popular Ayurvedic drug which is promoted as herbal, but it hasMandur Bhasma which uses iron as it raw material, if this iron has lead as an impurity then this lead will be very harmful as the processing will be as per iron only and not as lead.
