What to know the details of land ownership of Perur temple in coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Every temple at least all major temples in tamil nadu is under the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board Tamilnadu which is a seperate ministry in tamil Nadu state government. Typically all big temples in Tamil nadu has large land holding which have been in posession of the temples from long time.

It is good to have the details of the land posession of every temple in TamilNadu. Since it might take more time I would prefer to restrict this exrcise to start with one big Temple in Perur, Coimbatore, TamilNadu – 641010.

 

1) What is the land holding or the land that belongs to the perur temple in Tamilnadu in Coimbatore district. Request the details to be provided in acre with the survey numbers.

2) Normally temple used to provide in past these lands on lease basis (with no charge) to people who used to work for the temple. Hence want to know the details of the people to whom the land has been provided on lease for their work in the temple with details of what work they do for the temple.

3) Has the temple authority taken the neccessarily steps to get back the land from individual on their death or in the event they no longer work for the temple.

4) Has there been any sale of temple land by any indivual to whom the temple has provided it on lease to any other individual. To identify this it will be helpful if the temple land holding in the year 1947 , 1975, 1990 and 2011 can be made available seperately.

    Hi SIva, Please check the link i had provided in my earlier reply. There is no Pattiswarar temple in Perur Coimbatore as per that link. Give specific and correct info or provide me proper link about this temple’s basic info (like wikipedia etc.)

      PIO is Public Information Officer for Public Authority/Deptt that is handling the administration of an institution.
