The developer had sought to cancel the allotment of some buyers who filed RTI. Most buyers are middle class persons who have taken bank finance and paid upto 95% of the value of the apartment to builder. As per terms builder reserves the right to cancel allotment and forefeit 10-15% of amt paid. This is why anonymity in filing RTI is requested so that the buyer is not exposed to risk of cancellation and forfeiture.
