Full stipend not being paid to Dual Degree students in IIT Kharagpur

In IIT Kharagpur, instead of Rs 16,000 per month stipend which the dual degree students who clear GATE and/or have a CG above 8 are entitled to get. Only a measly sum of Rs 8,000 is paid. On being confronted, the director’s response has been that students don’t work that much and they can go the other IITs which provide full stipend.

I would like to file an application regarding information about the diversion of money which is not being paid to the students.

    Hence I am moving this post of your to the Non-RTI Category, so that we do not have to deal with Duplicate posts, which just serves no purpose and only increases our workload
