INSPIRE Scholarship by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology in IIT Kharagpur

As according to the information given in the above webpage, this scheme of INSPIRE offers Rs 80,000 per annum to the eligible students. But in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, eligible students are offered only Rs. 60,000 per annum. What is the institute doing with the remaining Rs. 20,000? In some other IITs, they are offering the full amount i.e. Rs. 80,000.

    There is no requirement of having two different posts to address the same issue, hence I am recategorizing this post as “Resolved Non-RTIs”
