I am a citizen of India.I am fed up of these price hikes.I have read in several newspapers and many economic experts on news channels says that these oil companies are make profits every year and they are lieing to us about the losses.So can we ask companies like Bharat Petroleum,Indian Oil etc.under RTI act for their balance sheets?

yes you certainly can – please draft the RTI application by finding out the addresses of PIOs of all the three companies through Internet and please draft it as per the application format and send it for correction. tks.

Ok now about your RTI, you can see any of the filed RTI from this website or Printed RTI’s (Ready to file) and make changes as per your queries.
