Legality of a Plot which is Purchased from Co operative Housing Society.

Dear Sir,

I have purchased a plot in Jaipur  from a property Dealer. he give me a PATTA of BUNIYADI VIKAS GRAH NIRMAN SAHKATI SAMITI LIMITED JAIPUR and a money recept but not gave the map and site plan of the plot, and promised that he will supply the map after some time. but he not supplied till the 3 years have passed,  so i am in doubt that something is wrong in this dealing.

Please suggest me that how can i check the

(1) Legality of my papers (Patta and money receipt).

(2) Actual location of plot whether is it that plot which is he shown me before purchase.

(3) Can i file a RTI and to whom?

(4) Please draft a RTI for the above.

Please note that the “BUNIYADI VIKAS……. SAMITI LTD is registered with Registrar Co operative Societies Jaipur (Rajasthan).

    You can file a RTI with the Registrar co-operative society as well as land settlement office – please find out PIOs of both, draft RTI as per the format (you can see samples in `printed RTIs’(Ready to file)’ and send it to us. tks

      I have filed both RTI’S to the concern on dated 05.12.2011 and sent by Speed Post and emailed to both also.
      I have filed RTI first time in my life and it happen due to GETUP4CHANGE, because i encresed only by your’s website.

    before filing these RTI,S I was much worried and confused about the legality of the plot, and there was no way to know the same.
    one day i read an article on GETUP4CHANGE in SHUKRAVAR hindi magjin and know about your criation/ mission.
    By the help of Drafted RTI, draft two RTI,S and filed them. You have prepared me.

    This definitely is a long long difficult journey and we have no other choice but to be persistent and patient. I know these words sound so boring, but to be really truthful, I do not know what else to say..

    I kept patient in the case and remain in touch with property dealer, agents etc. They all come to know about my RTI’s and they internally afraid with me and resolve my problem with out any dispute.
    In January 2013 they give me the Site Plan, Physical possession of my plot and i have constructed a boundary ball on the plot.
    This was not only with me but also with my two more friends, because we 3 friends purchase 3 plots in same one dealing. so they resolve all three’s problem.

    One more thing we have not spend any rupee other than legal expenditures on RTI and it was less than 100 rupees plus some mobile phone communication.

    SIR, It happen only due to power of RTI, and GUC was the master of me. I Salute to GUC & Team GUC.
    Thanks to GUC & Team GUC.
    You give me a moral support and direction to fight them in a legal way.

      Thank you for sharing your success with us. Your persistence and patience has finally paid off and has given us encouragement as well.
      You have very clearly mentioned the largely un-noticed effect of RTI. The pressure of an activist “keeping watch” over them brings many violators of rules upon the path of law.
      Thus even if the PIO does not reply to a query, it does not mean that the RTI had no-effect. The RTI will silently create fear in the minds of many.
